We Maldivian’s always love to walk on the middle of the road, not the pavements. Never cross on the pedestrian cross. Vehicles always over take from the left side. Taxi drivers never give way to other passing vehicles. People always park there vehicles infront of their destination, they never consider to check for parking regulations. This is how life goes in this country.
It’s time we change these bad habits and follow regulations. Regulations are made for the best of our community.
Yeah i’d like to work for the cause, but then there are things which we need to keep in mind, Bikes takeover from the left side because the vehicle drivers they never give way from the right. Please check this if you could notice. While driving they always give space from the left or no space at all. And yes about the pavement its known to people that only muggers, parteys and other bullies stand there. Need to change those first. I support your post and looking forward for an action plan or awareness programs.
