Going inside the Esjehi ge (Gallery) always gives a nostalgic feeling of old Maldives. This place was a noble person home which was build around 1870. I really like the lovely carvings and the wood work of our grand ancestors. Doing the royal bride shoot was a inspiration. I’ ve tried to keep the contemporary Maldivian craftsmanship mixed into a modern lifestyle. In this shoot we have tried to keep the old candle light feel inside the building. Also the oily makeup on the models skin bring a nice shine.
