Stop: In the name of helping/saving Maldives

I have always hated football, and mostly Maldivian Football. I find that the government has been wasting a lot of money for this sports. The best ever victory on this earth is beating our neighboring country Sri Lanka on SAFF Games. Wow. Did this achievement boost our tourism? Guess not. But the National team players got money prize.

Dear Ali Ashfaq: You may be a superstar to some people but not me. Its time you be a real Hero (Ambassadors), People like us will help you and even donate you more that MRF 20.

I guess if you had a better way to ask for money don’t use the word “HELPING MALDIVES”. Helping or Saving these are very powerful phrase.  Football will never save our community and never did in the last 40 years.   Look at all the Child abuse cases, violence against women over fishing, Natural habitat lost and biodiversity in our small islands. Do you people know about these things.  If so please find a way stop these things.

One more thing, Does each and every island need a football stadium? I guess i will keep the huge forest or coconut fields.

Talking about super stars in MALDIVES.  One of our film Star/ Dancer living in villingili says visiting Temporary Shelter for Children (Kudakudhinge Hiya) “Eyee Katu Kameh”.

I am really fed up of you SUPER Stars. This is a facebook conversation between me and Football SUPER STAR Ali Ashfag.

Lol! Are you for real? Maybe I should adopt you!
Makes my head spin the way these Maldivians think they are heroes!
Heroes do something remarkable or life changing for the whole community.
Chasing after a ball on a field filled with screaming spectators and being able to score doesn’t make you a national hero!
    Men and their inflated egos!

If you don’t “get” the game, just shut the fuck up. What’s your problem anyway?
